Reverse Circulation Drill pipe, Dual wall drill rods (RC drill pipes)
A RC drill rod (also as dual-wall drill pipes) comprises an outer pipe tube and inner pipe tube with a sealing system (usually O Ring, V Ring) to keep the drill string pressurized. Air is blown between the walls of inner tube pipe and outer tube pipe down to the hammer while the air forces the cuttings back up through the center of the inner pipe. As RC drill rods are subjected to high wear in the drilling process, Roschen use only the high quality hardened alloy steel for the both inner and outer tube drill rods and tool joints.
